Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) Accreditation
Accreditation is required for PCSGP Planning and Implementation (P/I) start up grants and high school credit transferability. WASC accreditation is a process as much as it is a document. It is recommended for all schools that wish to engage in a structured continuous improvement cycle which includes feedback from a variety of educators and administrators. Full WASC accreditation terms can last up to 6 years.
We draw from our experience serving as WASC visiting committee members to provide support from the Initial Visit through the full Self Study and resultant Action Plan revisions. This includes overview presentations of the various requirements to diverse stakeholders, facilitating group workshops, and editing the final documents. We also prepare you, your staff, and the rest of the school community for the visit itself.
